Been meaning to post and share this for awhile now! One of the crayon ladies is finished her quilt and it looks awesome-great job Connie! It’s hard to get a good picture of a large quilt, but this looks pretty nice. Love the sashing and border choices.
A smaller crew this morning for our last get together-the almost year has flown by! Harvesting and family duties kept two of our dedicated sewers away, we missed you. We’ll have to see what the New Year brings… maybe this favourite from Crabapple Hill? It’s called “Shiny &Brite” Here are our results, so far, for […]
Very pretty! Hopefully everyone will be getting caught up before our last meeting, I look forward to taking pictures of everyone’s blocks.
My top has sashing and borders and looks AMAZING! Yup, it’s done! It’s at the shop (Quilting Quarters) so stop in and see it. I will post pictures after I get through the Toronto show. I also hope to get some colouring done on Gingerbread Square blocks for our last get together. It has been […]
Not as many completed to show this month, hope fully everyone will be recovered from summer busy-ness and caught up for next month! Too many Row by Row shops to visit I think 🙂 I love how different the fishies look!
Only two more blocks to go including this one! The Hook Line and Sinker Block 8 is a nice, easy block that won’t take too much time. Meg is softening us up for Block 9! Not too much colouring or stitching on this one. Here are my notes for Block 8 Once again there are […]
I am really looking forward to vending and teaching at The Creativ Festival in Toronto, October 24-26! (My first class is actually even before the show opens on Thursday evening, October 23). I will be demonstrating stained glass quilting techniques at the show but my two classes are actually both handwork! I get to go […]
Here are my Rainbow Trout and Crappie. Hmmmm, maybe fish for dinner?
The fishy blocks are done! Lots less French Knots and X’s this month-Yay! We also get a peek into Meg Hawley’s sense of humour-anyone ever had Crappie? Here are my tips for Block 7: Thought I might revisit placing the fish on your background fabric. Nothing like tracing it, getting ready to trim, and realizing […]
Looking good enough to eat!! These are mine 🙂 And all the fishies…….
