It’s been a little crazy around here designing for the Ontario Row By Row Experience, Northcott Fabrics and some new ideas coming soon. Add to that it’s show season and I have my trunk show at the Arnprior Guild, The Ottawa and Renfrew and Quilt Market shows and a week in Orillia teaching and presenting! […]
Just finished another Stained Glass Quilting Class at The Quilting Quarters with a fabulous group-we had way too much fun and I would love to hang out with them again soon! Great fabric selection made for a new crop of colours! They always look so different. […]
The lures were fun, the ruler, well, not so much! Though it did pass the time while everyone was watching hockey. Here are my tips for Block 4: Make a copy of the tracing diagrams to cut apart, that way you won’t ruin the original and it makes it so much easier to trace. Cut […]
All I can say is WOW! I love what everyone is doing to make these blocks their own. Such a creative, enthusiastic group and I enjoy colouring with you! Dianne wanted a cabin in her block and Karen’s cottage is a friendly get-together spot so they had fun changing up the block… […]

Details are on my website and on the Quilting Quarters web site. I would also like to welcome Four Pines Quilting-they are running a […]
Congratulations to Caren! She takes home the kit for “My Favourite Birch” in glorious Shimmer fabric. Thanks everyone for participating, the support has been great, and look for new things coming soon (maybe another draw?) I will be adding some kits to the web site shortly as I get them made up.
Got another update from a very nice lady who made the birch tree in our class. She’s the one who put the field of sunflowers in the background. Great job Nancy and I do love those flowers!
Had a great day hanging out at the Farm show in Ottawa demonstrating crayon embroidery and needle felting! Fun times with Nancy, Mary and Joanne (oh yeah, and lots of big tractors!) May have been -32 Celcius this morning but it felt like spring in there. That’s me in the Sheep Jacket 🙂
It’s a very blustery, snowy day out there so it’s a great time to get some work done and hide indoors! Some updates for the spring (I know it’s coming!) In addition to paper-based patterns, Annies is now carrying PDF Downloads of a selection of my patterns. Just signed up a new shop, Quilt Shop […]
