Stained Glass Quilting in Prescott Results!

What an awesome day yesterday in beautiful Prescott, ON. Spent the day at We R Quilts finishing up some stained glass quilts with a very fun, inspirational group of ladies! Also got to meet some Row by Row shop hoppers from across the border.

I am always so excited to see what happens when people make some of the quilts and these ladies made some beautiful pieces. Even though they used many of the same fabrics their quilts are very different. Way to go Freda, Peggie and Susan!

Susan

The cliff face just glows! Had to buy some of the green border fabric!

Freda

There’s the green again, as the cliff face. Love the texture in the background hill.

Peggie

Took the border treatment from Temagami Highlands and used it here-great results! The sky and rocks just glow, and love the colour/texture in the background hills.

I know that there are some rug hookers out there working on a couple of my designs that I adapted for hooking. I have also sent designs to some stained glass artists and yesterday a painter purchased patterns to try painting- if you or anyone you know is making the designs in alternate media please send me pictures!!

Today i am off to meet with a great, talented friend to work on some crayon embroidery designs, should be fun!
