After a fun-filled, busy few days it was time to head back home. I had planned a few stops on the way and met some great new people at The Muskoka Quilting Company in Bracebridge ON and 3 Gals and a Quilt Shop in Huntsville ON. I even ran into Laurie from Northcott at the […]
Spent the day yesterday doing some of my computer stuff and finally got some notes on the road trip and calendar done. Double checked this morning and noticed I had the wrong date for Fabulous Flowers in Prescott- it’s the 26th not the 19th! Everything else looks good and I will be adding more as […]
I finally have a chance to sit down and breathe after a few whirlwind weeks. I was fortunate to be invited to an amazing shop in Orillia, Ontario called Thimbles&Things and owned by an awesome lady named Sue! Her shop is a gorgeous, buzzing place filled with lovely quilts, lots of fabric and notions, super […]
After the insanity of May here comes the busy-ness of June! I went to a wonderful little show in Renfrew, saw lots of old friends and made lots of new ones. I made up some kits of the more popular projects and still have a few left so I have added them to the web […]
It’s been a little crazy around here designing for the Ontario Row By Row Experience, Northcott Fabrics and some new ideas coming soon. Add to that it’s show season and I have my trunk show at the Arnprior Guild, The Ottawa and Renfrew and Quilt Market shows and a week in Orillia teaching and presenting! […]
The April class schedule at the Quilting Quarters in Almonte has been posted and I will be teaching three classes-Stained Glass Quilting, Fabulous Flowers and the Seminole Runner from Atkinson Designs. Congratulations to Caren! She takes home the kit for “My Favourite Birch” in glorious Shimmer fabric. Thanks everyone for participating, the support has been great, and look for new things coming soon (maybe another draw?) I will be adding some kits to the web site shortly as I get them made up.
Got another update from a very nice lady who made the birch tree in our class. She’s the one who put the field of sunflowers in the background. Great job Nancy and I do love those flowers!
My Little Contest closes tomorrow night (Sunday March 16). Don’t miss out on your chance to win the kit to make “My Favourite Birch” in the gorgeous Shimmer fabrics! Follow me on Facebook or drop me a line through the website and you’re in.
Had a great day hanging out at the Farm show in Ottawa demonstrating crayon embroidery and needle felting! Fun times with Nancy, Mary and Joanne (oh yeah, and lots of big tractors!) May have been -32 Celcius this morning but it felt like spring in there. That’s me in the Sheep Jacket 🙂
